Telstra BE INVOLVED, World class talent nurtured here.

Telstra congratulates the winners of the 2010 Telstra Road to Tamworth: Tenielle Neda Musulin in the performer category and Luke Webb in the songwriter category. To watch the Telstra Road to Tamworth Grand Final click here.

Telstra has been a long supporter of Country Music through our association with the Tamworth Country Music Festival since 2003, and our talent programme Telstra Road to Tamworth, running since 2004.

Telstra’s Country Music program offers some fantastic opportunities for music development across Australia.

Community groups can benefit through a new program – Telstra Keep the Music Playing.

This music development fund provides Australians in regional communities with the chance to receive a music equipment grant to enjoy making music.

Australia’s next generation of country music stars can kickstart their music career through Telstra’s flagship program the Telstra Road to Tamworth. In it’s seventh year, the expanded program returns to rural and regional Australia in search of the next wave of talented musicians to boost their career.

This year’s program includes separate performer and songwriter categories, and a digital heat for people who live more than 400 kms from the nearest physical heat location – giving more chances to country music hopefuls around the nation.
