Telstra values its program partners and would like to acknowledge their involvement in the 2011/12 Telstra Road to Discovery regional music program. We thank the following organisations for their generous support.
The Australasian Performing Right Association(APRA) is the peak not-for-profit Songwriters Organisation in Australia. It collects and distributes licence fees for the public performance and communication (including broadcast) of its members' musical works. The Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (AMCOS) administers their reproduction rights.
With the introduction of a dedicated Songwriting category APRA AMCOS have come on board to support the program in recognition of its contribution to the industry. APRA AMCOS will lend their expertise through judging and mentoring of the entrants.
