We’re supporting AFL at a number of levels, like with our ambassadors and with the Telstra AFL Assistance Fund. The Fund supports the development of AFL at the local level by providing equipment such as footballs and tackle bags.
Telstra AFL Community Camps
AFL fans across Australia get the chance to meet their favourite players and coaches in the Telstra AFL Community Camps. In 2009, Telstra has created the ‘Halftime Hub’ where fans can chat live via video call to AFL legends such as Leigh Matthews and Gary Lyon.
The camps include training sessions, school visits, nursing home and hospital visits, NAB AFL Auskick clinics and community football forums for local coaches and administrators.
